I could say that I wanted to learn so that I could speak to my grandparents in a language that most of my cousins won't understand. Or maybe that I've gotten tired of watching subbed anime. Perhaps too many of my friends is learning/knows Japanese. I don't know. Therefore, I will say that my reason is curiosity.

Excited about:

• Being introduced to everyone and constantly forgetting everyone's names
• Carrying around heavy textbooks that make me feel studious
• Going to random class times
• "ツ゚" looks like a smiley face :)

Difficult:

• Writing
• Names
• Writing
• Bad penmanship
• Writing

Include a word or a phrase in Japanese
